Leaders´& Organizational Resilience
Resilience of leaders & organizations
Charlotte Förster
I am Junior Professor of European Management at the University of Technology Chemnitz. My research focuses on the resilience of leaders and organizations. Building on my PhD at the Technical University of Dresden and my work at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, I also investigate topics such as (positive) leadership, crisis management, paradoxes, mindfulness, the process of sensemaking, critical infrastructure and high reliability organizations (HROs). However, I particularly focus on the resilience of and in healthcare organizations.
Based on my research, I also offer resilience counseling and trainings in organizations. I help to identify features of individual and organizational resilience (i.e., resilience measurement), give lectures on the topic of resilience with different emphases (e.g., resilience and crisis management, resilience in the healthcare context) and offer resilience training for various professional groups (i.e., resilience promotion, e.g. resilience in nursing, leaders' resilience).
